From indoor viewing, to outdoor watching, to record keeping, on how to look, what to look for, analyzing, comparing, and basic equipment, well, the list is endless. Here are some ideas on how you can start the enjoyment on birdwatching and become more knowledgeable about the secret lives of our fine feathered friends.
Some common daily bird behaviors that are easy to observe are their singing, territoriality, courtship, nest building, roosting, flocking, foraging (finding food), bathing plus preening, and migration. There are of course a lot more bird behavior that are more in-depth and can be studied in books available at the library or in book stores.
