Educate Yourself About the Trumpet Honeyuckle and Its Hummingbirds
Trumpet Honeysuckle
Trumpet Honeysuckle (Lonicera sempervirens) has a beautiful, strikingly red flower that attracts hummingbirds. It is very fast-growing, deciduous vine, and their flower produces scarlet berries, that are consumed by songbirds. A nice stone birdbath next to this vine and it might enhance the beauty of your bird feeding garden.
The Trumpet Honeysuckle is adapted to full sun or some shade, and likes most pH values and soil types. It will grow up to “between” 10-20ft (3-6m) tall, and sometimes even higher, depending on its support.
