How to Make Homemade Sugar-Water Solutions

How to make homemade sugar-water solutions

To make a perfect sugar-water solution, mix the sugar and water together in equal (1:1) proportions and then boil the mixture to retard the fermentation. Make sure all the sugar has dissolved in the mixture and then dilute the one part sugar to four parts water, by adding three more parts of cold water. Put the rest of the sugar-water in the refrigerator until you need it.

Try not to put any red or orange food coloring in your sugar-water mixture to attract birds from a distance, instead use some red or orange paint or even better put some orange and or red plastic flowers on your homemade oriole feeder.
