Learn How to Protect Your Ground Feedeers
Protect Your ground feeders
When you have different kinds of feeders it makes it easier for you to protect some of them, from unwanted guests. You can protect bird treats with wire cages around your wooden hoppers, or use sturdy and weather resistant metal ones, with cages around the feeding opening. The hoppers also provide a controlled release of seeds and loss of seeds due to high winds.
Since larger birds have a tendency to arrive in your garden in bigger groups, they can empty your day’s supplies of food in a short matter of time, and take away your enjoyment of viewing the smaller more timid birds feeding. So, therefore it is always good to plan how you want to arrange your garden and get the most pleasure out of all your bird feeding fun.
