Learn About Where to Place Your Bird Tables
Where to place your bird tables
Here are a few tips to follow to have maximum success with your bird tables. Placing a bird table in great view at least 3 feet from a window gives hours of great entertainment. If possible hang some mobiles or charms next to the window to prevent birds from crashing into the windows. Also, if there is a bush or tree next to your feeding table, it will provide some protection and peace for your little friends to feast on your goodies.
Most bird tables will attract birds like Purple Finches, House Finches, Spotted Towhee, Dark-eyed Juncos and maybe even a shy Mourning Dove. There might be some fighting at your bird table for the best seed, nuts and fruits, but that comes with the territory.
It might also be a good idea to place another bird table in the middle of the backyard and or garden to attract the bigger stronger birds and give the smaller birds a chance to eat on the bird tables closer to the house where they can feel safer.
